I have seen so many inspirational pins on Pinterest, and am excited to start trying some of them. I am pretty sure a lot of my projects won't come out as fabulously as some of the uber talented pincers but I'll give it a shot.
Pinterest has inspired me to try some nail art. Not based on a particular pin but just as something a little bit more fun than plain nails.
My first attempt was not very tidy but it was impressive for my shaky hands!
This is after 5 or 6 days as I didn't think to take a photo straight away. I am pretty impressed as my nail varnish usually chips within the first day so these are going really strong. My right hand do not come out so well. I also used the nail polish brush so the dots were not as neat as I would have liked. I wanted to use white as the base coat but couldn't find it so I used a spearmint color as the base and I had some yellow and orange dots.
I will try this again with white as the base coat and do yellow, spearmint, pink and orange dots. I will also try using a toothpick to paint on the dots so hopefully they are more round.
