Whoops, first post since January 2013. Update

Hi There. Sorry for my lack of posts. I have been busy doing other stuff and am now finally able to get my craft room into a room for making rather than just for storage. Very excited to be making stuff again.

I have seen so many inspirational pins on Pinterest, and am excited to start trying some of them. I am pretty sure a lot of my projects won't come out as fabulously as some of the uber talented pincers but I'll give it a shot.

Pinterest has inspired me to try some nail art. Not based on a particular pin but just as something a little bit more fun than plain nails.

My first attempt was not very tidy but it was impressive for my shaky hands!

This is after 5 or 6 days as I didn't think to take a photo straight away. I am pretty impressed as my nail varnish usually chips within the first day so these are going really strong. My right hand do not come out so well. I also used the nail polish brush so the dots were not as neat as I would have liked. I wanted to use white as the base coat but couldn't find it so I used a spearmint color as the base and I had some yellow and orange dots.

I will try this again with white as the base coat and do yellow, spearmint, pink and orange dots. I will also try using a toothpick to paint on the dots so hopefully they are more round.

Happy New Year

As usual I am running late but Happy New Year to everyone on the Interweb and Beyond.

I have been keeping my head down a bit for a while now, figuring out what I am doing and trying to regain my footing.

I know that this year I would really like to make a go of my business. Here are a few of my work goals:

I will be more present on the internet
I will be more creative and learn some new crafty skills
I will develop a variety of BarbieAnneLoves products
I will craft at least one project from pinterest a month
I will devote a vast majority of time to working and creating
I will blog at least once a week

Personally my main goals are to spend more quality time with my friends and family and to simply be happier.

Thanks for keeping me up to date with what is happening in your lives. I May not always comment on your posts but i do my best to read as many as I can and I have you all in my thoughts.
I have been inspired by so many people this year and i hope that this year is so much better for all of you. I have read many of your hard times and hope that we all will have happier things to write about.
